Our Commitments
What we believe. What we stand for. What we live by.
We Commit to the Pollinators
This land is their sanctuary.
From wildflower fields to chemical-free growing, everything we do starts with one question: “Will this help the bees?”
We protect more than just honey bees. Native bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and even moths and other beneficial insects all have a place here. As pollinator populations decline across the globe, we’re building a farm where they can thrive.
We proudly registered as:
Certified Monarch Waystation
Certified Wildlife Habitat
Xerces Society Pollinator Protection Pledge
We Commit to the Land
Natural. Local. Regenerative
No pesticides. No synthetic fertilizers. No exceptions.
We keep it wild where it matters and cultivate carefully where it counts. Whether we’re planting trees or building soil, the goal is the same: long-term health for the land and everything that depends on it.
We don’t tame the wild. We work with it.
We Commit to the Craft
Thoughtfully made. Never mass-produced.
Every wood product from Bear Ash Farm — hive boxes, signs, planters, boards — is designed and made right here on the farm. We prototype slowly, build carefully, and use salvaged wood when we can. Our goal isn’t to crank out quantity. It’s to create pieces with purpose.
We Commit to the Transparency
No greenwashing. No fluff. Just facts.
We say what we mean and show our work — whether it’s the ingredients in our honey, the story behind our designs, or how we manage our land. We’re not perfect, but we’re honest.
We Commit to the Education & Access
We’re not gatekeeping the good stuff.
Pollinator support isn’t just for farms. Whether you have a backyard, a balcony, or a windowsill, you can make a difference.
That’s why we offer free planting guides, publish tips through our blog, and plan to open up our land for learning in the seasons ahead.
